A challenging and rewarding position is now available to lead an established care team in Cambridge. Our client Aaron 9, is charming and social – he loves sensory activities and trips out to the park and playing games with his younger siblings. Aaron has cerebral palsy, complex medical needs, is a wheelchair user and requires 24/7 support. We are looking for an organised and professional team leader with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to work alongside Aaron’s parents and case manager.
As team leader you will be responsible for organising rotas, appraisals, supervisions and training. You’ll plan and implement strategies and routines recommend by treating therapists, ensuring Aaron receives high quality care. You’ll empower, motivate and promote his independence and arrange age appropriate activities that are both fun and educational.
This job will suit a Team Leader who uses their own initiative, is creative, personable and outgoing, ideally with experience both in a community and family settings. It is important to have flexibility and availability for shift work. You’ll be confident liaising with professionals and working alongside Aaron’s parents, being sensitive to their needs.
Shift pattern: Term time: Monday to Friday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm Weekends and School holidays: 8:30am – 8:00pm Waking Nights: 10:00pm – 8:30am
