Days & Hours: Alternate Saturdays or Sunday, approximately 2.00pm-6.00pm and additional hours available during school holidays (8 - 10 hour days).

About this client/child:
Our lovely client Adam, is 7 years old, living in South West London with his family and is looking for an experienced support worker to join his care team. Adam has an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and associated social and communication difficulties however he's making significant progress in communicating using PODD books. He requires support and assistance to meet all of his care needs. Although he is independent, he does require close supervision.

Overview of the role:
Adam requires support and assistance to meet all his care needs, he strives for independence and is very capable however he does require close supervision. As Adam’s support worker, you’ll provide hands-on support, assist with his therapy programmes and learning, arrange social and play activities such as trips to adventure parks and swimming.

Who this job would suit:
A proactive, energetic and fun person who has experience supporting children with additional needs. It’s highly desirable to have previous experience supporting children with behavioural needs. This is an ideal position for an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for additional hours during weekends and school holidays and would like to gain more experience.
