Our client Amanda is 20 years old and sustained a brain injury in her early teens and as a result has difficulties with chronic fatigue, painful headaches and short-term memory issues. Amanda is mostly independent however her needs are subtle, so she can be vulnerable as her disability is not always obvious to others.

Amanda enjoys a wide range of activities such as shopping, going to the gym and swimming. Her main passion is animal care, she loves all animals and her goal for the near future is to have a property with land where she can care for some small animals. In this role you will support Amanda to access the community, explore new interests, continue enjoying current hobbies and also develop practical skills such as cooking and light household duties.

This job will suit a kind, patient and calm person who shares similar interests as Amanda. A confident driver and car owner is essential for this role.
