Our client's parents are looking for a person to come and provide support and look after their son within their home and when they go out. They are looking for someone who is fun and enjoys playing! Sometimes it’s hard for their son to concentrate, so with the support of the therapy team you will be able to help him learn to do things for himself!
Their son is 7 years of age and has an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), which means he needs help with lots of things. He really enjoys being outdoors, going to the park, swimming and when at home being sung too. Sometimes, when he doesn’t want an activity to end, he tends to sit down and not want to move so you will need to be able to physically assist him and encourage him to stand up, being able to use distraction techniques helps a lot!!
The role is incredibly rewarding to experience him developing, step by step. He is a very happy boy with an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile and eye contact when somebody makes a connection with him for example through creative play or intensive interaction.
If you wish to be considered for this wonderful position please apply today or to discuss your availability and the role in greater detail please give Jade at Snap a call.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
