A new opportunity is now available in Hertfordshire, we have a mixture of shifts available and happy to consider suitable applicants looking for either a full or part time position.  Our client Josh 13, lives at home with his Mum and Dad who currently meet all of his support needs. We are recruiting a full care team to provide 24/7 support.

Josh is a bundle of energy and always on the go! He loves football, tennis, computer games and music. He has mild cerebral palsy, brittle epilepsy and a visual impairment. Josh also has learning delay. Although he has complex needs and requires 1:1 support, he is full of adventure and loves creating mischief!

In this role you will support Josh with all his care needs which include personal care, behavioural management, administer medication and implement therapy programmes recommended by treating therapists. It is essential to promote Josh’s independence and arrange creative, education and fun age appropriate activities. Ideally you will have experience working within a family setting.

Josh has brittle epilepsy, he can have multiple seizures throughout the day and night so therefore it is essential you have experience supporting a client with epilepsy. We can only consider confident drivers, swimmers and non-smokers.
