Our client Amy is 9 years old and sustained a brain injury when she was 6 months old, as a result she has epilepsy, a learning disability, sensory processing disorder and poor communication skills. Although Amy has complex needs, she is physically very capable and strives to be as independent as possible. Amy lives with her parents and four siblings, one being her twin brother – this is a very busy family household!

In this role you’ll support Amy with each task of her daily life, including personal care, assisting with her toilet training and all aspects of her care plan. Amy enjoys playing with her siblings, getting out and about in the community and accessing fun, education and creative activities. Support required before and after school and on weekends.

Amy requires a robust, positive and reliable female* support worker and we are happy to split the hours between two new team members. This care package is offering part-time permanent or casual contracts. Ideally looking for support workers willing to travel with Amy on Brownie pack holidays.

If you wish to be considered for this wonderful role, please apply today with your updated CV and Snap will be happy to pass it on to our client for their consideration.

*Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female worker to work with our client.

Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
