£13.00 - £15.00 Gross per Hour. Support Worker position available on a care package in Staines, providing support to a 14-year-old teen with complex care and medical needs. Permanent contract.

Driver required? Yes, essential
Use of a car? On duty, adapted vehicle, automatic drive
Essential: Experience supporting a young client with a physical disability
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Tuesday 4.00pm - 7.00pm Friday 3.00pm - 7.30pm Saturday week 1: 7.00am - 3.00pm Week 2: 3.00pm - 11.00pm We do not expect any team member to work every Saturday, these are the shifts that are available so please do get in touch with your availability. 

About this client/child:
Our client Jane is 14 years and lives at home with her family and is supported by a dedicated care team round the clock, she requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 waking night support. Jane has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is registered blind; she has complex care needs and is reliant on others to meet all her care needs.

Overview of role:
As Jane’s support worker you’ll provide hands-on support with the afterschool routine including school pick-ups, you’ll work alongside a team member and assist with all aspects of her daily routine and support/care plan, personal care, implement therapeutic programmes provided by treating therapists. You’ll encourage and facilitate Jane to experience and enjoy all extra curriculum activities and live life to the full.
