Up to £15.00 Gross per Hour. Full-time position available on a care package providing 24/7 support to a client with an acquired brain injury (ABI). Permanent contract.  

 

 

 

 

Title: Support Worker / PA
Location: Currently based in TW20 (Egham) however relocating to KT23 (Leatherhead)
Nearest Train / Tube Station: Egham and Leatherhead
Wage / Salary: £13.00 weekdays | £15.00 weekends gross per hour. Sleeping night: £78.30 weekdays | £90.00 weekends gross per shift.
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, manual drive
Essential: Experience supporting a client in a family setting.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Offering full or part-time position. 24 hour shifts. Based on a rota, provided 1 month in advance. Shift starts at 7:00pm and includes a sleeping night. Must have flexibility to work different days / nights each month.
Accommodation: Separate bedroom and in new property will have bedroom and bathroom.

Our client Elaine is 42 years old and sustained an acquired brain injury as a result she requires round the clock support. Elaine lives in Egham with her mother and 19 year old son however is relocating to her own home in Leatherhead this year.

Elaine has a great sense of humour and enjoys spending time out and about in the community although she can become anxious and reluctant when faced with new situations. Elaine’s brain injury mainly affects her short term memory which causes anxiety and low motivation. All activities and engagement will be aimed at promoting independence, confidence, development, enhancing self-esteem, learn new skills and enabling Elaine to live a positive and happy life.

Elaine requires prompting and support with personal care, stoma care (training provided) and accessing activities and social events. A driver is essential for this role as is experience supporting an adult client with additional needs. Elaine requires a mature female* support worker who enjoys similar activities and interests.
