Up to £13.00 Gross per Hour. Outgoing and sociable 18 year old with cerebral palsy looking for part-time weekend and evening support in Bristol.

 

 

 

 

Title: Support Worker / PA | Bristol, BS14

Nearest Train Station: Bedminster / Keynsham
Wage / Salary: £11.00 gross per hour weekdays | £13.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty
Essential: Experience supporting young adults with additional needs and confident following care / support plans
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Thursday and Friday 4:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday 10:00am – 3:30pm OR 3.30pm – 9:00pm. Please get in touch with your availability. We are looking for a minimum of 2 support workers / PA

Max 18, is a music lover, outdoor enthusiastic and enjoys quality family time! Max has cerebral palsy, is wheelchair dependent and communicates using sounds / vocalisation and body language. It is absolutely key that you spend time with Max and really get to know the person he is to fully understand his likes, dislikes, emotions and hobbies etc.

We are recruiting two support workers / personal assistants to support Max at the weekends providing 2:1 care within the family home and out in the community. Max would like his care team to continually promote his independence, contribute to his development and to explore new interests and hobbies. Max requires full support with his daily routine so you must be confident in manual handling, providing personal care and administering medication.

This position will suit a caring, energetic and passionate Support Worker / Personal Assistant who really wants to make a difference to a person’s life. As mentioned Max is very family orientated so you will be comfortable spending time with and working alongside his close relatives.
