Jack, 25, is an active young man who enjoys a variety of sports, including golf, swimming and going to the gym. He has studied architecture to Masters level, has a keen interest in design and loves traveling. Jack has cerebral palsy and we are looking for two support workers to work with him on a two weekly rota basis.

The role will involve supporting Jack at home and in the community. Jack needs assistance with personal care, meal preparation, assistance with a comprehensive rehabilitation program, as well as a support worker to drive and accompany him to meetings and appointments. You must be confident to implement strategies, guidelines and programmes recommended by other health care professionals and therapists.

This job will suit a confident, positive and caring support worker who has previous experience working with young adults with physical disabilities. You must have excellent communication skills, be willing to support Jack with his hydrotherapy and be anon-smoker. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative is vital for this position.

We are looking for two support workers to work a two week rota:

Week 1: Monday to Wednesday 7:30am – 7:30pm

Week 2: Thursday and Friday 7:30am – 7:30pm.

There is the potential for additional hours in the evenings and at weekends.
