Days & Hours: Days: Monday and Saturday OR Sunday 9.00am – 6.00pm and Two evenings per week 6.00pm - 11.00pm Additional hours available.
Lee (soon to be 7) has a rare disorder known as De Novo Mutation in GABRB3, he has significant complex needs requiring 24/7 care. Lee is dependent on others for all his care needs. Lee has epilepsy, throughout the day and night he has multiple seizures and absences. He is nonverbal, requires oral suctioning, repositioning, chest physio and all nutrition, liquids and medication are administered via PEG.
This role will involve caring and tending to all Lee’s needs including but not limited to; personal care, administering medication and emergency meds if required, monitoring nutrition and liquids intake, implementing therapies and repositioning, lifting and hoisting.
We are looking for a caring, loving candidate who has an abundance of patience and kindness. Lee is building up his care team, so you will be happy to work alongside his current Snap support worker and his Mummy and Daddy. You will be confident, creative and considerate with a passion for supporting children with complex additional needs.
