Katy is 24 years old and currently recruiting new *female support workers to join her care team. Katy has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs, is a wheelchair user and received all nutrition and liquids via a feeding tube (Mic-Key). Katy is dependent on her team to attend to all her care needs and requires 1:1 support.
In this role you’ll assist Katy to live an independent and fulfilling life. Katy has many hobbies, she enjoys attending clubs, day centers, activities and trips / days out. As Katy’s support worker you’ll assist with personal care, light household duties, implement therapy programmes, attend appointments, arrange activities, explore new interests / hobbies and attend hydrotherapy sessions.
This position will suit calm, caring and energetic support workers who are passionate about supporting people with additional needs and ensuring they reach their full potential. For this role you must be a non-smoker, confident swimmer and driver.
