Days & Hours: Mixture of shifts available providing weekday, afterschool and weekend support. The role is flexible and we will employ multiple support workers to cover part-time hours. Monday and Friday: 4.00pm – 8.00pm. Three Wednesdays a month – 4.00pm – 8.00pm and one Wednesday a month – 4.00 - 10.00pm. Two Saturdays a month 7.00am – 2.00pm and Two Sunday afternoons a month – 2.00pm – 7.00pm.

A permanent position is now available for a support worker to join busy and dedicated home care team supporting Jane, a 13-year-old with complex needs. Jane has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is registered blind, therefore requires 24/7 support, 2:1 during the day. Jane lives with her family in a fully adapted house.
As Jane’s support worker you’ll work alongside a team member and assist with all aspects of her care plan, personal care – feeding, changing and bathing, implement therapeutic programmes provided by treating therapists. Encourage and facilitate Jane to experience and enjoy all activities and live life to the full.
This job will suit someone with a lively personality, a sunny disposition and a true passion for supporting children with additional needs. Jane is looking for experienced female* support workers who have high standards of practice, a therapeutic approach and a desire to learn and understand her specific needs and desires.
