£13.00 - £15.00 Gross per Hour! Proactive, fun and caring Support Worker to join care team providing support for an 11 year old with cerebral palsy. Full and Part-time positions available.

Location: Gloucestershire, GL54
Nearest Train Station: Kingham
Wage / Salary: £13.00 gross per hour weekdays | £15.00 gross per hour weekends | £72.00 - £80.00 gross per sleep in night based on 9 hour sleep ins
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Supporting a young client with physical disability
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Full and Part-time Hours available. Mixture of shifts including week days and weekends and sleep in nights with additional hours during holidays. The family are building a team so therefore are flexible with hours offered.

James 11, is a bright, engaging and cheeky chap who enjoys playing games and being actively involved with family life, exploring the great outdoors, bike rides and swimming.   He has cerebral palsy, is a wheelchair user and communicates using his specialist computer. He requires assistance with day time activities, play, education, therapy programmes and needs support with everyday care needs. 

We are looking for a support worker who is flexible, confident and loves supporting children with additional needs. The ideal person will be happy to accompany James on family holidays and any holiday’s camp he wishes to attend.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wonderful boy who has lots of potential, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work with a small care team and alongside fantastic therapists.
