Jack is an intelligent, fun-loving, independent 22-year-old young man who lives in his own bungalow with support. Jack has cerebral palsy with dysphagia which affects his speech and eating. Jack has a big social network and enjoys traveling, having a coffee with friends, socialising and partying.

Jack requires an enthusiastic support worker who can support him in all aspects of daily living and enable him to continue to enjoy an active social life. He needs assistance with eating and some assistance with clothes when using the toilet. You’ll go out and about with Jack by car to a range of activities and outings. The 2 days and nights are worked in blocks; at night you will be able to sleep and are present in case of an emergency.

This job will suit someone outgoing, enthusiastic but also someone patient, who takes time to understand Jack when he does speak.

The role provides a great opportunity to enable a young man to continue to enjoy his life and maintain his independence.

If this position is of interest and you meet the essential criteria, please send your CV, plus a brief supporting statement and we’ll forward to our client for their consideration.
