We are seeking an experienced Female Support Worker for Arthur who is 10. He enjoys sensory games, stories and listening to music. Arthur has a rare disorder and significant complex needs requiring 24/7 care. Arthur has epilepsy, and throughout the day and night he can have multiple seizures and absences. He is non-verbal but can express his likes and dislikes. Arthur requires oral suctioning, and all nutrition, liquids and medication are administered via PEG.
This is a fantastic part-time support worker role which offers excellent training opportunities. You will be working 1:1 within the client’s home so can focus all your skills and attention to help Arthur reach his potential. The role offers a competitive hourly rate which is negotiable for the right candidate.
We are keen to hear from support workers who have genuine interest in supporting children with SEN and have experience working with clients with physical disability.
