About this client/child:
Phoebe, 11 is a lively and active girl. She enjoys playing on her Xbox, listening to music and likes to go swimming Phoebe lives with her parents, her twin brother and younger brother (5). Phoebe has an acquired brain injury, sensory processing disorder and can present with challenging behaviour.
Overview of role:
Your role will be to support Phoebe with her daily routine. She is currently home schooled, you will support her with her academic skill and work towards her therapeutic goals, guided by a tutor and therapist. The main focus is to develop Phoebe’s life skills, encourage her academic learning, as well as assist with positive interaction with her siblings. There is also a need to support with her personal care and behavioural management. This is a 3 month temporary contract to start ASAP with the possibility to extend. Flexible rota covering Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 8.00pm. Example of shifts: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm or 1.00pm to 8.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Rota to be discussed with the successful candidate. £13.00 gross per hour weekdays, £15.00 gross per hour weekends

This is a busy family home; mum is very hands on and requires a Support worker who has the ability to work alongside her as well as taking sole charge.
