About this client/child:
Lily is an adorable, bright and sociable 4-year-old fun-loving little girl. Lily lives at home with her Mummy and sister, she attends a specialist school and requires support to meet all her care needs. Lily has cerebral palsy which affects her four limbs and her verbal communication, she has epilepsy, dystonia and a PEG in situ. Lily is a busy bee; she loves to be involved in all activities both at home and out in the community.
Overview of role:
As Lily’s waking night Carer you’ll provide hands-on support throughout the night, assisting with all aspects of Lily’s care plan, night routine and tend to her care and medical needs. Each night will be different and will include settling Lily back to sleep, repositioning and general observations and monitoring. Training is provided in all areas of Lily’s care including personal care, using specialist equipment and PEG feeding.
