Our client Max is 8 years old with an ASD diagnosis and currently attends a specialist school in Marylebone. A sweet, engaging and happy chap who loves singing, dancing, acting and art craft activities. Max requires a clear, well-structured routine (already established), consistency and clear boundaries to feel comfortable, calm and content.
Typical daily duties will involve travelling to Max’s school in Marylebone and arriving for pick up at 3:30pm then returning back to the family home in a taxi. Once at home you’ll be responsible for following the schedule which includes implementing therapies such as SLT and OT in a fun and creative way, assisting Max with his reading, other school work or piano practice, arranging activities to build up his fine and gross motors skills and most importantly fostering his independence. Other tasks include completing general nursery duties, handover communication book and cooking nutritious meals.
We are looking for a SEN Nanny with a passion for children and ideally educational background in children with differences. French speaker is highly desirable. Further learning, courses, training and development will be provided by the family for the right person.
If you would like the opportunity to support Max then please apply today with your updated CV, Jade at Snap will forward all suitable applications across to the family for consideration.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
