Max is a loveable 3-year-old, he loves trains, cars, nursery rhymes and playing outdoors. Max lives at home with his Mum, Dad, and Sister (6). He has recently been diagnosed with ASC and is currently receiving SALT and OT input from his treating therapist – he is making very good progress! Max attends nursery in the afternoons and we are expecting he will attend a mainstream school setting in the future.
We are looking to source a bubbly, energetic and confident SEN Nanny with strong experience implementing SALT therapy programmes (OT and Play Therapy desirable) along with experience supporting a young child with ASC and speech delay as these are the key areas to aid Max’s overall development, however, you’ll also work on toilet training, fine and gross motor skills and his social skills.
As Max’s SEN Nanny you’ll implement his therapies programmes in a fun, engaging and creative way, plan educational activities, attend playgroups and work with Max to improve his communication and language, self-help skills, ensuring his independence is continually promoted.
Max is at the center of a loving family who wants to ensure each opportunity is provided to enable him to reach his full potential, this is a truly rewarding role.
If you wish to be considered for this wonderful opportunity, please apply with your updated CV and Jade from Snap will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
