An exciting new role is now available for a confident SEN Nanny / Manny to support Zac; a charming, energetic and caring 7-year-old, who is autistic. Zac loves running, trampolining, swimming, listening to music and messy play. He enjoys being outdoors and has a keen interest in nature.
As Zac’s SEN Nanny / Manny, you’ll promote his independence; working on his self-help and developmental skills, assisting with toilet and sleep training, and implement therapies. Zac is currently non-verbal and uses PECS and Makaton to facilitate communication. We are looking for an SEN Nanny / Manny who will be an advocate for Zac; understand he has lots of potential and will motivate and encourage him to reach this.
Typical nanny / manny and nursery duties are also involved such as cooking, light housekeeping duties, school pick-ups (just a 3-minute walk away), babysitting etc. Zac’s parents will be happy to facilitate more training in communication/OT through the school or outside sources. There may be some flexibility with the hour for the right person.
If you would like the opportunity to support this delightful little boy, please apply today with your updated CV and Jade from Snap will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
