Driver Essential? Yes
Essential: Experience supporting a young client (0-6years) with additional needs, previous experience working within a family setting
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm

About this client/child:
Alfie is 2 years old, he is an active, bubbly, and a determined young chap who loves music, storytime, bubble play, and most of all cars! Alfie has cerebral palsy, Movement Disorder, and Development Delay, he has emerging speech and communication and although he is not yet walking, he crawls and is very fast and active! Alfie requires close and constant supervision. He is susceptible to throat Infections, which impact his overall health and wellbeing. Alfie is at the center of a loving family and they are looking for an experienced SEN Nanny/Manny to work with and support their son.

Overview of role:
The SEN Nanny/Manny will support Alfie with his developmental and self-help/independence skills by working alongside his treating therapist, implementing therapy programmes in a fun and creative way, enable and facilitate him to access and engage in fun and educational activities both at home and in the community. The role will also involve completing personal care duties, assisting with transfers, feeding, meal prep, and light household duties.

Who this job would suit:
An experienced, fun, energetic, and proactive SEN Nanny/Manny looking to make a long-term commitment to this role. We are very keen to hear from a SEN Nanny/Manny with previous experience implementing therapy programmes and supporting a young child with additional needs. It is essential that you are a confident driver with your own car and are comfortable driving Alfie’s manual vehicle whilst on duty. It is also essential that you are a non-smoker/vaper.
