Up to £14.00 Gross per Hour. Part-time position available on a care team providing 1:1 support to a 10 year old boy with complex health needs.

Wage / Salary: £12.00 Gross per Hour Weekdays | £14.00 Gross per Hour Weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, adapted vehicle: automatic drive
Essential: Experience supporting young people with complex health needs. Swimmer, Non-smoker. 
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 8:00am - 8:00pm OR 10:00pm - 8:00am. On average 1 or 2 shifts per week / fortnight. 
Pets: Yes, a family dog that Mark enjoys taking out for walks.

Mark 10, is a sweet, happy and loveable character! He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is visually impaired and deaf. Mark is a wheelchair user, he receives all his nutrition and medication via his gastrostomy and uses facial expressions and sounds to communicate. Mark enjoys hydrotherapy, playing with his sensory toys, taking his lovely dog out for walks and most of all, spending time with his Mum and sister.

This role will involve supporting Mark 1:1 with his day and night-time routines and most importantly ensuring his safety and providing a high standard of care and support. Using every opportunity to develop his full potential physically, developmentally and socially.

This job will suit confident, engaging, sensitive and reliable support workers who have a real passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
