Title: Part-time Support Worker

Nearest Train Station: Aylesbury / Haddenham & Thame Parkway
Wage / Salary: £13.00 gross per hour weekdays | £15.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential, with use of own vehicle at work
Use of a car? On duty, manual vehicle
Essential: Experience supporting a young client with an acquired brain injury or additional needs
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Term-time, 12 – 15 hours a week: 4/5 mornings Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 10:00am. 15 hours a week in school holidays worked over 2 / 3 days.

Our client Leslie is 8 years old has an acquired brain injury, his case manager is currently recruiting a part-time support worker to assist with the morning routine during term time and would also like 1:1 support during the school holidays on a part-time basis.
Leslie attends a specialist school and enjoys a range of activities including swimming and horse riding. Leslie requires support in the mornings to ensure he heads off to school on time and is ready for a busy day of learning. Responsibilities include personal care, prepping breakfast and assisting Leslie with eating / drinking and implementing therapy programmes as directed by his treating therapists. For this position you must be a confident driver with a full clean license as you will be driving Leslie to school during your shift.
This job will suit a kind, caring and organised support worker who has experience working within a family setting supporting young clients with additional needs.
