Days & Hours: One day a week (negotiable which day) Term time: 3.30pm – 7.30pm and School holidays: 10.00am – 4.00pm.

Our client Tom is 12 years old and his lives at home in Ashford with his Mum and brother. Tom is an engaging, kind and caring young man who enjoys spending time with his family, taking care of his pets, trampolining and getting out and about. He has an acquired brain injury which affects his organisational skills, memory, language, and communication, social-emotional regulation and he can experience episodes of fatigue.
Tom is seeking a Male* Support Worker to provide assistance and support one day per week; during this time you’ll provide therapeutic support as recommended by treating therapists, work with Tom to achieve his personal and therapy goals, arrange and take part in activities, promote Tom’s independence, advocate and facilitate his overall development.
For this role, it is essential to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and you must be confident writing a weekly report to share information with his family, team and other professionals involved in Tom’s care.
