Up to £16.00 gross per hour. Flexible weekend and holidays Support Worker position positions available on a care package in the BR7 area supporting a 6-year-old girl with cerebral palsy. Permanent, part-time contract.

Days & Hours: Flexible part-time hours** to cover annual leave, sickness and double up care for the client on outings/trips. Will suit an agency TA / Support Worker looking for additional hours.

Sofia 6, is an engaging, fun-loving little girl who is looking for a pro-active, fun and passionate Female* support worker to join her small but busy and dedicated care team. Sofia who has cerebral palsy, enjoys eating delicious blended food and has a PEG for her medications (and food if she is feeling too tired to eat). She requires support to meet all of her care needs and at certain times during the day will require 2:1 support.

This role will involve assisting Sofia with all aspect of her daily routine and care plan including personal care, accessing fun, educational social activities and implementing therapies under the guidance of her therapists. As Sofia’s support worker you’ll ensure her independence is continually promoted and that she is facilitated to reach her full potential. Experience supporting a child with similar needs such as cerebral palsy and Peg feeding is desirable however training is provided.

This job will suit a confident, happy and friendly support worker who has the ability to work on their own initiative but also comfortable working alongside team members.

**Shift pattern: Term-time Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 10:30am and 2:30pm – 7:00pm | Weekends: Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 4:00pm | School Holidays: 6:00am – 12:30 and 12:30 – 7:00pm. After school shifts are 2:1 care plus 5 hours during school holiday days.
