Jen is 24 years old and has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs, she is a wheelchair user and received all nutrition and liquids via a feeding tube (Mic-Key). Jen is dependent on her team to attend to all her care needs and she requires 1:1 support.
This role will be based in Jen’s home however you will work both at Jen’s home and out in the community. Jen has a busy schedule full of social events, activities, and appointments, she attends day centers, clubs and really enjoys being out and about. In this role, you’ll assist Jenny to live an independent and fulfilling life.
As Jen’s support worker/carer you’ll assist with personal care, implement therapy programmes, attend appointments, arrange activities, explore new interests/hobbies and attend hydrotherapy sessions. Excellent training opportunities are available in this role.
