Driver required? Essential
Use of a Car? Yes on duty however will need own car to travel to and from work

Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 5.00pm. Weekdays (up to two a week): 6:30am – 9:30am and 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Additional hours during school holidays.

Helen, 16, is a lively young lady who loves swimming and watching her favourite TV show, Strictly Come Dancing. She also likes to have quiet down time and a bit of girly pampering! Helen has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy and all nutrition, liquids and medication is administered via gastrostomy. Helen is a wheelchair user and communicates uses sounds, noises and facial expressions.
The position involves supporting Helen to engage in some fun activities and trips out, as well as attending to her physical and care needs. You must be a confident swimmer as this is one of Helen’s favourite activities!
This position will suit an outgoing, pro-active person who will thrive working within a busy family home. You must have experience working with children or young adults who have similar additional needs and be confident administering Helen’s medication.
