Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Term time – 3 afterschool shifts per week 3.00pm – 8.00pm, any 3 days. Additional hours during school holidays, up to 27 over 3 days.

Daniel 13, is funny, adventurous, and loves to laugh! Daniel has GDD and communicates using PECS, Makaton and he will often take you by the hand to direct you to what he wants. His younger sister is very creative and has a budding social life. Daniel’s is a busy house with lots to do!
The role will involve supporting Daniel afterschool, enabling him to be independent and enabling him to explore his own interests and to get involved in social clubs and activities. Daniel requires assistance with personal care and meal times (all his food is pureed or mashed). Daniel is very capable however he requires close supervision as his has limited safety awareness.
This job will suit an outgoing, fun and creative candidate and who can enjoy working in a ‘go with the flow’ family environment.
