Up to £9.50 gross per hour! Creative, caring and flexible Female* support worker needed to work with Emily, 23, in Telford

 

Location: Wellington Telford
Nearest Train Station: Wellington
Wage: Weekdays £8.80 gross per hour / Weekends £9.54 gross per hour
Driver required? Essential, with own car
Essential Experience: Working with a client with learning difficulties in a family home and you must be a confident swimmer
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Flexible shifts available: Weekdays 3:00pm – 8:00pm, two Saturdays a month 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Emily, 23, is a very sociable young lady who likes to keep busy with activities such as swimming, cycling and trips to the local pub, as well as family holidays to Devon and Spain! She loves shopping and other girly activities, frequently changing her hair colour! Emily has a significant learning difficulty and we are looking for support workers to join her team. The family own a friendly dog, so you must be comfortable with pets. 

Your role will involve supporting Emily to enable her to live as full a life as possible and to maximize her independence. You will assist Emily with her personal care routine and with eating nutritional meals.

This job will suit an energetic, fun and sensitive support worker who is interested in working with young people with special needs. Someone who can work well with Emily’s current team and family, and a swimmer is essential.
