Essential Experience: Supporting a child with Cerebral palsy, manual handling, Paediatric First aid course
Start Date: ASAP 
Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday 2.00pm to 6.00 pm (24 hours per week), after the initial training period (3-6 months) there is potential to increase hours

Tom is 4 and is looking for an energetic, fun and compassionate Support Worker to assist him with his weekday and weekend routines. Tom has Cerebral Palsywith developmental delay, chronic lung disease and low muscle tone. His has hearing and visual impairment. 

You will be responsible for supporting Tom through personal care routines, any required therapy exercises, helping out with light housework duties and organizing fun activities he can engage in.We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and pitch in as and when needed, whether it is to play with Tom or assist mum with household chores. 

This job will suit an energetic, warm and kind support worker who enjoys working within a family home and providing 1:1 support. You must be confident in manual handling and keep the highest hygiene standards around the house. 

You will be flexible to travel with the family and support Tom whilst on holiday both in the UK and abroad.
