Up to 14.00 gross per hour! Proactive and experienced Part Time Support Worker for Max, 16, who has cerebral palsy

Days & Hours: 100 contracted hours over 4 weeks period, Bank position also available, see shifts below that may need covering

Max 16, is an active and sociable young man who enjoys going to football matches, playing computer games, eating out and going to cinema and concerts. Max has cerebral palsy, he is a wheelchair user and has a speech impairment. 

We are seeking a proactive bank support worker who will be able to cover various shifts including staff holiday and sickness. You’ll assist Max with his daily routine, provide personal care and accompany him on his social outings. There is also an opportunity to accompany Max on holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to implement the therapy programmes in his daily routine and help promote Max’s independence.  

This job will suit a flexible, energetic and proactive candidate who enjoys working within a family home and providing 1:1 support. Term time: Monday 6.45am – 10am, Tuesday 2.30pm – 9.30pm, Wednesday 6.45am – 10am and 2.30-5.30pm, Thursday 6.45am – 10am and 2.30-9.30pm, Friday 6.45am – 10am and 2.30-9.30pm, Saturday and Sunday are flexible, depending on the family’s needs. School holiday: Hours can be flexible, depending on the family's needs
