Up to £14.00 gross per hour! Dedicated Morning and After school Support Worker required for Noah, 11.

Wage: £12.00 gross per hour weekdays, £14 gross per hours weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential: Experience supporting clients with physical disabilities
Desired: Experience with hydrotherapy and implementing therapies into daily routine
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Various shifts on offer, please see below. 19 hours in total

Noah 11, is a charming and bright chap. He has a great sense of humour and is an absolute pleasure to work with. Noah has severe dystonia, quadriplegic cerebral palsy and uncontrolled epilepsy, he requires assistance in all aspects of his daily routine. He uses AAC, PECs and pictures books for communication and a few verbal words including ‘yes ‘ and ‘no’. Noah is  able to communicate his needs and he will certainly keep you on your toes!

Your role will involve assisting with the morning and after school routine. You will prepare him for a busy day at school, provide personal care, assist with feeding and ensure he is comfortable. In the afternoon, Noah likes to relax at home, he enjoys playing games on his ipad, swimming in his hydropool and playing in the garden.

The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a caring and positive manner. You must be confident in manual handling, providing personal care and administer medication. You will create interesting and educational activities to ensure Noah is continuously learning and most importantly having fun! Please apply today!

Monday – Thursday 7.30 am – 9.00 am, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm, Saturday 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm
