Days & Hours:Monday – Friday 15 hours per week, Flexible hours for the right person. Eg. Mon – Fri 1.00pm – 4.00pm

About this client/child:
Owen 4, is a sweet and friendly boy who loves music, reading books and playing with cars. He is very active and enjoys using his walking frame and riding on his trike. Owen has cerebral palsy and global developmental delay. He is unable to walk, sit or stand unaided and relies on equipment as well as the help of an adult to transition and to move around the home.
Overview of role:
Your role will involve developing a caring relationship with Owen, building a programme of activities and therapy opportunities at home and in the community. You will also assist with Owen’s personal care, feeding, light housework/nursery duties and cooking, as needed. And of course, make sure Own has lots of fun! You will accompany Owen and his mum to various appointments and swimming.

This position will suit a friendly, flexible and kind SEN Nanny / Support Worker. You’ll be a creative and sensitive person with genuine interest in working with children. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with background in Occupational therapy, Physio or SEN.
