Job Title: SEN Nanny/ Buddy|Blackheath, SE3
Location: Blackheath, SE3
Wage / Salary: £17.00 gross per hour
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? Yes, while on duty
Essential Experience: Anxiety, mental health issues
Preferable: A background in psychology
Start Date: ASAP                   
Days & Hours
: 30 hours per week, Term time: Monday to Friday 4.00pm to 8.00pm, School holidays: hours will be flexible
Pets: none.

About this client/child:
Peter (12) loves rock music, playing guitar and drums and gaming. He suffers from depression, anxiety, and needs lots of encouragement and confidence boosting. He has recently been through some traumatic events and might not go to school every day or has to be picked up earlier.  He has two brothers, Dan (14) who has mild learning difficulties and mild/ moderate deafness and is a big football fan and Adam (10) who loves classical music, plays guitar, harp and piano.

Overview of role:
We are seeking a positive, kind and intuitive SEN Nanny / Buddy who has experience supporting young people with anxiety and mental health needs and your main focus will be to support Peter and help him to manage any crises and anxiety. Your role will also involve building a caring relationship with his siblings, support their individual needs, assisting after school, light housework, cooking, planning activities and running errands for the family. Mum is very hands-on; she requires an SEN Nanny who can work alongside, and support her with the children.
