Amy, 7 is a determined and an active little girl who loves rough and tumble play, the seaside, baking and arts and crafts! Amy has Cerebral Palsy resulting in minor mobility problems and presents with traits of ASD. Amy communicates using a combination of speech, signs and pointing.
This role will include assisting Amy with daily activities, promoting her independence and supporting her social development, building friendships and regulating her emotions. Amy is sensitive to loud noises, new situations and crowded places so this will suit a candidate who is understanding, patient and calm.
The ideal candidate will be resourceful, flexible and confident. This is a busy household so you will be happy to pitch in as and when needed with Amy, her siblings and some light domestic duties.
