Part Time SEN Nanny | St Johns Wood, NW8

Location: St. Johns wood, NW8
Nearest Train / Tube Station: St. Johns wood / Swiss Cottage
Wage / Salary: £14.00 to £17.00 gross per hour depending on experience
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty, automatic
Essential: Some understanding or exposure to autism, personality is also key - must be naturally good with children and open to learning
Desired: Psychology / Education graduate looking for a career in ABA
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm

Seth, aged 10 loves going out, especially if this involves long walks, bicycle rides or swimming. Seth has autism.  He is verbal but can only express his needs with one word requests.

The family are looking for a part time SEN Nanny for their 10 year old son. You will be responsible for helping with meal times, bath and play. You will also be involved in a skill teaching programme using ABA. The main focus of the programme will be to develop language and social skills.  Full ABA training will be provided with supervision.

This job will suit someone who is very natural with children. A playful demeanor and innovative approach will be key. You must also demonstrate patience and be open to learning new things.

This a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in SEN and/or ABA who may wish to develop this further as a career. Lots of training and on- going supervision will be made available to you.
