£14.00 gross per hour. Kind, empathetic and nurturing SEN Nanny / Manny to work with two fantastic boys, 12 and 9.


Location: Winnersh RG41
Nearest Train Station: Winnersh
Wage / Salary: 14.00 gross per hour
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? Will need own car, mileage paid at 0.45 p per mile
Essential Experience: Experience of working with children with Special Needs, Experience of nannying, Knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy practices
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Term time Monday – Friday 4:00pm – 9.00pm, Alternate Saturday shifts are available
                             School Holidays 30 hours per week, days and start times are flexible. 

Jules, 12 and Oscar, 9 are two friendly and active brothers who live with their mum in Winnersh. Jules is tech mad and loves to swim. He is autistic and has a Statement of Educational needs. Oscar is a bit of a musician playing football and the drums. Jules and Oscar are looking for a kind, flexible nanny to assist them out of school hours.

You will be responsible for supervising as they get their homework done, planning fun games and activities and preparing the evening meal for all the family. Jules is a bright boy who attends a mainstream school and works hard to maintain his levels.  The school offer excellent input and support which the nanny can carry through while Jules is at home. Jules is very capable but can struggle with social situations.

The family have very recently experienced a bereavement so this role requires someone empathetic and emotionally mature. This role will suit a confident, considerate, flexible and caring SEN Nanny who can bring energy and experience to the boys’ home life. You will need an empathetic, proactive approach and be passionate about nurturing young people.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for you to support the boys through this difficult time as well as facilitating their success at school and helping Jules to develop and reach his potential. This is a lovely young family who can offer a stable, long-term working environment for a candidate who is flexible, accommodating and nurturing.
