Simon aged 7 is an energetic character who enjoys football, playing in the garden and other outdoor activities. Simon has autism, ADHD and epilepsy which are both controlled by medication. His 2 sisters (11 and 4) are very independent however they find it difficult at times to interact with Simon and need support with this.
This is a busy household and we are looking for a level-headed and organised nanny who can build a caring relationship with the children while setting up clear boundaries and routines. You’ll need extensive experience with children with autism and ADHS as well as strong nannying experience.
You role will be to support Simon and his sisters during their after-school routine; assisting with homework, cooking nutritious meals for them, playing and having lots fun. During the school holidays you’ll organise activities and outings. Mum is very hands-on and requires an SEN Nanny who has the ability work alongside her, as well as taking sole charge.
This exciting position will suit a confident, energetic and sensitive Nanny who will build a trusting and engaging relationship with Simon and his sisters and someone who has a sincere interest in working with children with SEN.
*Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female worker to work with our client.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
