£13.00 - £15.00 gross per Hour. Full and Part-time positions available on a home care team providing day and night support for an 11 year old with cerebral palsy.

Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, adapted vehicle, automatic.
Desirable: Experience supporting a child with a physical disability
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Please see shift pattern below. Full and part-time hours available. Packages offering 20, 30 and 40 hours per week contracts
Family Pets: Two dogs (Dalmatian and Labrador puppy)

James 11, is a bright, engaging and cheeky chap who enjoys playing games and being actively involved with family life, exploring the great outdoors, bike rides and swimming.   He has cerebral palsy, is a wheelchair user and communicates using his specialist computer.

You’ll support James with his personal care, manual handling, therapy, day time activities, play dates and education. You will encourage and motivate James whilst continually promoting his independence. James attends a specialist school and he lives at home with his Mum, Dad and siblings. He requires round the clock support, including on-call night care. On the night shift you are expected to sleep unless James wakes you up and needs assistance.

Shifts available:
Term time: Monday to Friday 9:00pm – 6:00am (on-call night) | 6:00am – 9:00am | 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Weekends and School Holidays 9:00pm – 9:00am (on-call night, waking at 7:00am – 9:00am to support in morning routine) | 9:00am – 9:00pm

Training available along with the opportunity to learn new skills and work with a small care team and alongside fantastic therapists.
