Days & Hours: You will be part of a rolling rota which provides 24 hours support with a sleeping night. (35 hours per week)

Bea, 24 seeks an adventurous, sporty and fun loving *female PA / Support Worker with a good sense of humour, to join her 24 hour support team. On any day you might facilitate her to train and compete at the highest level in her sport, do a gym or exercise programme, take her notes at university or go out with friends.
Bea plays sport at an elite level, she regularly has weekends away to compete and train, and loves to travel. As her PA / Support Worker you will help her to make this happen (passport needed!). Based in York, Bea lives independently. Besides studying and playing sport she loves socialising and enjoys entertaining, she regularly speaks at conferences and workshops about life with a communication impairment and physical disability. You will join a great team who work with her on a 1-1 basis around the clock, for some activities you will also work with another team member. Full training provided and meals on shift.
Apart from being a graduate and a driver, no experience is needed. What is more important is your personality! You need to be calm and level headed, love to laugh, have a sense of adventure, want to be busy and be willing to facilitate and empower Bea to have the life she wants. In return, you will receive comprehensive training, including undertaking therapy programmes and sports programmes with professionals and to undertake academic support.
