Alex is a happy and energetic 2-year-old boy. He loves going to the park, running and looking through his big collection of books. Alex is currently non-verbal and has some sensory difficulties. He is on the social communication pathway and although there is not a formal diagnosis there is a strong indication that Alex may be autistic.

This role will involve supporting Alex at home, taking and picking him from nursery and the occasional play dates. Alex currently shows very little engagement with others and has little interest in activities, so this will be a key focus for the nanny / manny to work on. Part of the role will also involve some light, child-related household duties, keeping the areas of work tidy and batch cooking, while Alex is at nursery.

This job will suit someone who is creative, energetic, extremely patient and kind. Someone who has good knowledge and experience of autism is essential, as is working with children under 5. Someone who can bring with them an abundance of ideas and strategies will be very well received by the family.

This job offers an amazing opportunity utilise your skills and experience to help support a young child who is at the early stages of his development.

This is a lovely opportunity to support a young child in his early development. A creative SEN nanny or manny, will be able to fully utilise their skills and experience to really make a difference.
