About this client/child:
Our client Susan is 35 years old; she sustained a spinal cord injury and is a wheelchair user (electric and manual), and as a result of her injury Susan can struggle with fatigue levels and pain on a daily basis. Susan is very active, she enjoys a range of sports such as tennis, swimming, and working out at the local gym but also loves fashion, gardening and travelling. Susan lives in Chatham, however, is potentially relocating in the near future around the Kent / Canterbury area. We are looking for two support workers to split this role and work part-time hours with Susan.
Overview of role:
Each day will be different depending on what Susan has planned. As a Support Worker, your role will be to provide practical hands-on support to enable Susan to live her life as she wishes, complete activities that compliment her therapy and provide life enrichment. Susan requires some support with personal care and full assistance with general household duties, cooking and travelling with Susan on holidays in the UK and abroad ( Following Government Guidelines re Covid-19)
Hours available:
Monday: 7.00am – 12.00
Tuesday: 7.00am - 12.00
Wednesday 7.00am – 7.00pm,
Thursday: 7.00am – 5.00pm,
Alternate Friday: 7.00am - 5.00pm
Alternate Saturday and Sunday: 7.00am – 12.00
