Days & Hours: Term time: Thursday 7.00am – 10.00am and 2.00 pm – 7.00 pm, Friday 7.00 am – 12.00 pm and 2.00pm – 7.00pm, School holiday: Thursday and Friday 7.00 am - 7.00pm

About this client/child:
Emily is a lively, active little girl who lives in a busy and fun household, with her 3 siblings. Emily has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Emily is TPN fed but you will not be required to carry out any care or procedures with her feed.
Overview of role:
As Emily’s Support Worker, you will play a very active role. You’ll be responsible for supporting Emily through personal care routines, any required therapy exercises, accompanying her out with her family and friends or organizing fun activities she can engage in. You will need to be resilient and confident as Emily can present with challenging behaviour, but Emily is also a LOT of fun! She likes to be active and can use her manual wheelchair or her Whizzy Bug to get around. She loves to be kept busy with play, games and activities.
