Chris aged 7 enjoys swimming, jumping on the trampoline and listening to music, especially nursery rhymes. Chris was born at 22 weeks and has been diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This impacts his cognition, learning, communication, interaction, and physical abilities. Chris also does have difficulty processing and integrating sensory information which does result in a pattern of sensory seeking behaviours.

Chris attends a specialist school and the family are looking for a SEN Nanny to offer him additional support for a few hours after school. As well as supporting him with his general care needs including personal care, we are also looking for someone who can guide Chris and offer the family new strategies. Being able to work closely with the family at times is important.

This job will suit someone who is calm, friendly and very patient. You must have strong autism experience and be confident with behaviour management. This is a great opportunity to offer the family some respite whilst continuing Chris’s development. To be considered to this role please send your CV to Rachael at Snap.

Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
