Essential: Previous experience supporting a client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Non-smoker, confident driver, swimmer and comfortable around animals.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours and Days: An average of 40 hours a week

We are seeking an experienced *Female Support Worker for our client Joe who is 11 years old. Joe is a cheeky chap who is full of mischief. He has cerebral palsy and complex medical needs which require 24/7 support.

This Full Time Support Worker role offers excellent training opportunities and the ability to really make a difference; you will be working 1:1 within the client’s home following Joe’s care plan and implementing his therapy programmes. Joe requires suctioning at times, and chest physio regularly. He receives his medication via PEG and is given emergency medication for his epilepsy when required. The role offers an average of 40 hours per week, rota will be given 2 weeks in advance.

We are keen to hear from support workers who have experience working with clients with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
