A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced support worker to join a wonderful home care team supporting a charming young lad. Our client Liam is 15 years old, living at home with his Mum, Dad and 3 siblings. He attends a specialist school in the area.
Liam has cerebral palsy and dystonia, he is a wheelchair user and is totally dependent on others to meet all his care needs. Liam is a bright, engaging and sociable chap, he uses AAC and eye gaze to communicate his needs and his hobbies include swimming, listening to music, Lego, caring for his gecko and watching movies.
In this role, you’ll support Liam with his morning and after school routine, school drop-offs and all aspects of his care and therapy plans, social events, and activities. This is a hands-on role and you’ll be working within a busy family household so it is all hands on deck.
*Shifts available: Term time: Monday to Friday 06.30am to 9.30am | 4.30pm to 9.00pm Weekends and School Holidays: 08.00am to 8.00pm. Please do get in touch with your availability.
