Days & Hours: 4 Waking Nights per Week. 10.00pm to 8.00am or 9.00am

About this client/child:
Our client J is 10 years old and lives at home in Camberley with Mum, Dad and his two younger sisters. He is a happy and determined young chap and loves attending cubs, going to school, and playing with his siblings. J has cerebral palsy, associated learning, communication, and physical disabilities, is a wheelchair user, and has epilepsy; he requires support to meet all of his care needs. J has a PEG for nutrition, fluids, and medications. J requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 support at night.   

Overview of role:
This role involves supporting J and tending to all his care needs throughout the night. The Waking Night Carer will follow his care plan, assisting with administering medication, completing personal care duties, and repositioning and manual handling as and when required. It is essential that you continually monitor and supervise J. Each night shift will be busy, and you will be constantly on the go, tending to J; completing reports and documents, preparing medications and feeds, and completing light household duties related to J and assisting with the morning routine. The nights we require cover are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are looking for an experienced Waking Night Carer to commit to 4 shifts per week.
