Days & Hours: Term-Time: Monday 7.00am – 9.00am and 3.30pm – 9.00pm Tuesday: 7.00am – 9.00am and 3.30pm – 8.00pm Wednesday: 7.00am – 9.00am Thursday 3.30pm – 8.00pm and Friday 7.00am – 9.00am | School Holidays: Additional hours available. We are looking to employ 2 support workers to fill these shifts, please get in touch with your availability.

About this client/child:
Our client Josh is 9-years-old and lives at home in Camberley with Mum, Dad and his two younger sisters. Josh has cerebral palsy, associated learning and physical disabilities, is a wheelchair user and has epilepsy; he requires support to meet all of his care needs. He enjoys sensory activities, listening to music and spending time with his family.
Overview of role:
As Josh’s support worker, you will work within the family home and the local community, following all areas of his care plan, ensuring his independence is continually promoted, and work alongside his therapy team to deliver therapy programmes such as physiotherapy, OT and SALT. Using a flexible and adaptable approach, you will encourage and facilitate Josh to participate in age-related fun and educational activities. This role will involve manual handling, assistance with personal care, engagement in play and education.
