About this client/child:
Joshua is 9 years old, he is a vibrant, active and engaging chap who lives at home with his Mummy, Daddy and younger sister who is 9 months old. He loves exploring the great outdoors and zooming around in his electric wheelchair! Joshua has cerebral palsy and limited mobility; he requires support to meet all his care needs. Joshua is strong-willed and strives for his independence, he can make his likes, dislikes and needs known.
Overview of role:
The SEN Nanny will support Joshua, however, will also be happy to pitch in as and when required with his younger sister. Joshua requires support with his communication, social and independence skills, all aspects of his care plan and therapy programme. As SEN Nanny you will enable Joshua to access the world around him, participate in activities and explore new interest and hobbies. This role is offering flexible part-time hours (24 hours per week) that will increase to 34 during school holidays. The family are very happy to work around the SEN Nanny’s other work, study or family commitments, please get in touch with your availability. Rates of pay: £15.00 weekdays | £17.00 weekends | Gross per Hour
Who this job would suit:
A positive, friendly and bubbly SEN Nanny with previous experience working within a family setting. A confident driver with your own car is essential, the family live in a remote area.
